Car Hire Details exclusions, Conditions and Payments - Auto Jardim Only

Whats Included..

*** Free delivery and collection  ( in office hours) to your Villa or Hotel in the  Algarve region.


Whats NOT Included..       All these are  Payable Locally  on collection of the car
NON OPTIONAL Charges
 Everyone will pay a refundable petrol deposit  from €uros 60 to €uros 90. Credit card or cash (£ or €uros)
The tank is full  on collection and this is refunded 100% on return if the tank is left full.
2.5% Credit & Debit  Card fee 
Tyre Damage caused by negligent and off road driving. All  damages caused by driving 'under the influence' or Insanity (!)
Late delivery of vehicle. Rentals are on a 24hr per day basis (within 2 hrs)..

Delivery / Collect outside the Algarve to Hotel / Villa Euros 0.50 per km from nearest office.

Auto Jardim are the largest , ( over 8000 cars), car rental company in Portugal. They have support offices all over the country, and their cars are new, and their backup service is second to none. We deal with them as they have proved to be the most reliable, and customer friendly company we have ever dealt with. The no quibble Collision damage waiver is excellent.

* Please note that tyre damage, driving under the influence, off road activities, driving in Spain (unless extra charge has been paid), are NOT covered by your insurance and may be charged directly to the client. Insanity is also reason to cancel your insurance.. please do not go insane whilst driving the car. Full details are on the car hire contract. Please read them on collection.

Pro rata Rate for 7+ days divide weekly rate by 7 and multiply by the required days.
For under 7 day hire please multiply day rate by the number of days required.

Days rentals are taken on a 24 hr basis.. ie if you pick up at 10 am, the car must be returned by 10 am on the day of departure. Excess Hours will require local payment of an extra days hire at the standard desk rate.

FULL 100% Excess waiver ( usually from €uros 7-12 per day ) is included in the rates above.
Personal accident insurance ( usually not needed with holiday insurance) €3 day
Unlimited Kilometers NO hidden charges
We suggest that for smaller children, who may need a booster cushion, that you bring these, as they are not always available to hire.
Cars are usually picked up at the airport exit 100 mtrs from the customs door.
Cars are delivered back to the depot 1 km before the airport, and clients are taken in a free bus ( every 5 mins) to the departures area.
We can arrange villa /hotel delivery and pick up at NO extra charge.
Rentals are only for Portugal if driving to Spain there is a €45 extra insurance fee payable directly to the Car hire Company AUTO JARDIM. If this is not paid you are held liable for all damages which occur in Spain
Petrol deposits of €uros 50-75 depending on group, are charged on pick up, and are fully refundable on drop off. They can be paid in cash, sterling or Euros, or secured by a credit card. You will be refunded the exact amount in the original currency, or given back the credit card slip , as long as the tank is filled to the same level as it was given to you.

*Credit or debit card payments accepted.. please add 2.5 % to the above charges.

Credit or debit cards must be taken in euros .please note that your bank or card operator exchange rates may differ from the sterling rates above and we cannot be held liable for exchange differences.

You can also pay by Euro cheque or direct bank transfer.
